Demi Goddard 

Assistant Teacher: All Classes

Demi graduated from Wasilla High School in 2013 and began working for Edge Preschool and Edge Fitness in 2012. Demi has already made a tremendous impact at Edge over the past 6 years. She is continuing her education by earning her Child Development Associate and is especially looking forward to the 2018-19 pre-school year. When Demi is not working she enjoys traveling, the outdoors and spending time with family.

Alina Rubeo 

Lead Teacher: 3-4 Year Olds

P.E. Teacher: All Classes

Alina graduated from Oregon State University and soon thereafter founded Edge Fitness (2006) and Edge Preschool (2012) in Wasilla. Alina's motivating spirit and eagerness to educate defines her Edge on the competition as a dual business owner. Alina's desire to deliver quality preschool education and develop a solid foundation for future success at an early age is why she strives to create an amazing atmosphere and Team for Edge Preschool. Alina, her husband Mike, and their 4 thrill-seeking children Blaze (9), Storm (7), Ice (5) and Rain (3) love the outdoors and anything adventurous.

Pilar Huey 

Lead Teacher: 4-5 Year Olds

Pilar moved to Alaska in 1990 with her husband J.D. and their two sons Ryan and Nathan. Pilar's passion for teaching preschool was inspired by volunteering at her son Ryan's preschool in Arizona. Witnessing firsthand children's ability and desire to learn motivated her to pursue an Associate Arts Degree in teaching. After moving to Alaska, Pilar was a substitute teacher and taught at several private schools in Wasilla for 27 years. Pilar was co-owner of Early Years School House for 16 years where she taught 2-5 year olds using Abeka curriculum.
